Blue Pebble Education

As adults, we perform best when we have a purpose.  Yet so often we expect children to do things simply ‘because they have to’, which can cause frustration, disinterest and a low-level of achievement.

This INSET explores effective and achievable ways to ensure you are delivering creative and purposeful lessons through an innovative curriculum. We focus on enabling you as a school to explore possibilities and focus on what is right for you. This INSET course can be adapted and personalised to your school's individual needs.

We will look at:

  • A range of successful approaches to curriculum innovation

  • Examples of outstanding creative and purposeful planning

  • How to develop and flex your creative muscles

  • Preventing stagnation

  • Deep planning: keeping planning personalised

  • Feeding assessment into a creative and innovative curriculum

  • Manageable ways to add the ‘wow’ factor to your plans and lessons

This course has a personalised learning

focus and so in preparation you will be

asked to send some current sample

planning and identify specific goals for

your staff's professional development. On the

day, you will spend time looking at your

current and future planning.

As part of this course you will have access to the tutor for up to 3 months after the course to request advice or ask questions.
