As adults, we perform best when we have a purpose. Yet so often we expect children to do things simply ‘because they have to’, which can cause frustration, disinterest and a low-level of achievement.
This course explores effective and achievable ways to transform your curriculum to ensure you are delivering creative and purposeful lessons. We will look at:
Examples of outstanding creative and purposeful planning
How to develop and flex your creative muscles
Preventing stagnation in your planning
Deep planning: keeping planning personalised
Feeding assessment into creative planning
Manageable ways to add the ‘wow’ factor to your plans and lessons
This course has a personalised learning
focus and so in preparation you will be
asked to send some current sample
planning and identify specific goals for
your professional development. On the
day, you will spend time looking at your
current and future planning and giving
it a creative makeover.
As part of this course you will have access to the tutor for up to 3 months after the course to request advice or ask questions.
£120 (early bird - booked prior to 1st Nov 2018) or £150 after 1st Nov 2018
